How to edit table content in SE16n

Notice that this tip must only be used on specific tables, only when concerned table is not maintained through SM30 transaction.

Check if you have authorization to do it by clicking on Maintain entries (working according table configuration).

If this tick box is greyed, write &sap_edit on transaction field and press enter.

For info : &sap_edit functionnality has been deactivated by SAP by note 1420281, or since EHP5.

If tick box Maintain entries is still greyed, then => /h to debug.
Set :
GD-EDIT to X
GD-SAPEDIT to X

Done, press F8 to return to transaction.

Press again F8 to display data. You can now add/edit/delete lines.
